Expressive Arts Therapy
 One option that I offer my clients of all ages is Expressive Arts Therapy.
Expressive Arts Therapy integrates various arts processes, such as journaling, imagery, mindfulness and art into "talk therapy."
The arts process can help clients articulate life concerns and serve as a link between inner feelings and outward expression.
This can be useful at times when clients are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just don't have the words to express what they are feeling. Engaging in an arts process can have positive effects such as a reduction in anxiety, depression and stress and overall feeling of well-being.
The arts can assist clients in contacting their own inner depths and can be a powerful mode of self-expression and release. It is about experiencing the natural
capacity of creative expression for healing.
The focus is on the process, not on the end product, and no previous art experience is necessary.
