My passion in working with children, couples, individuals and families is to provide relief from stressful situations as well as the opportunity for closer, stronger, happier relationships.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and have been in practice for 9 years. I received my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. I have a dual specialty including Couples Therapy as well as Child Therapy with young children.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, a research based, highly effective couples counseling known world-wide for it's high rates of success.
In addition, I am a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor which is the highest credential for Play Therapists. I have completed a two year post-graduate Institute in Early Childhood Mental Health as well as extensive training in Play Therapy. I have presented on
Child Therapy at conferences sponsored by Banner Behavioral Health
Hospital and the Infant Toddler Mental Health Coalition of Arizona and I am a past Board Member of the Arizona Branch of the Association for Play Therapy.
I also have specialized training in Expressive Arts Therapy which uses the arts to facilitate self-exploration and healing.
In addition, I consult with and offer workshops and training to parents, educators, corporations, groups and other organizations.
